Story Behind The Song
Another true story about getting my life back on track following a blackout event where I tried to commit suicide. As a Veteran I've got demons that I struggle with and this song talks about a lot of them, but it's a positive song and an upbeat song about the new path I'm on thanks to my wife.
Song Description
After a bender a man finds himself on the other side of addiction and sees hope for the first time in a long time. There is a lot of imagery to this song that comes direct from my experiences following a blackout and suicide attempt. This was a song that helped me crawl out of the 'deep dark pit' I found myself in.
