Story Behind The Song
My husband asked me to write this song to bring awareness to the affect that war can have, not just on the world, but on the soldiers and their families. My husband suffers from post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and depression.

Lyrics
A Soldier's Wife
Written by: Terese Millhouse
VERSE ONE
He prefers to stay awake at night on his own
With a full and lonely bottle of whiskey
He's surrounded by support but it's unrecognized
This can't go on any more, oh no honey...
CHORUS
Where are you? I see you but you're not with me
Where are you? Come back, please come back to me
VERSE TWO
He told me he'd go again, if he had the chance
It broke him the first time so why would he do it again?
Oh no, honey...
CHORUS
Where are you? I see you but you're not with me
Where are you? Come back, please come back
Where are you? I see you but you're not with me
Where are you? Come back, please come back to me
BRIDGE
A lost soul fighting to find him
Trapped within what haunts his life
His body's here, his mind's away
Will he win his war, asks this Soldier's Wife??
CHORUS
Where are you? I see you but you're not with me
Where are you? Come back, please come back
Where are you? I see you but you're not with me
Where are you? Come back, please come back to me
