Story Behind The Song

Holly was a dear friend who worked with me for several years on different projects. We created a succeseful childrens' tape and several meditation ones as well. This piece was a pure inspiration and is reflective of the good spirit that Holly was/is. She died very suddenly one evening in the bath tub due to a blood clot. She was a childrens? advocate, actress, writer, and a great loving supporter of my music and a mentor of sorts.

Song Description

this piece starts with a short rubato piano & string moment, then launchs straight into the upbeat 'A' section on solo piano, followed by a repeat of 'A' with orchestra (strings, trombones) then into the 'B' section, Following that is a quite different 'C' with a few twists and turns leading to a playful, solo 'D' section with a smooth return to the repeated 'A's a la the opening. It closes with a flourish of piano, strings and trombone leaving the listener refreshed and happy!
