Story Behind The Song
This was written about an extremely emotional 3 days of my life... The birth of my son, Luca and the suicide of one of my best friends 3 days later.
Song Description
I wanted the song to be overall positive, although it deals with such a tragic event as well as the birth of my son. The main message I was saying to myself is encapsulated in the lyric 'I lost a friend but in the end, his memory lives in all the time we spend.'

Lyrics
As millennia pass in an instant
You were coming from the stars into existence
Then for 29 years you were you were lifeless
But with the faintest spark you became brightness
With every cause there is an effect
How can we know what to expect?
Sometimes a force has an attraction
Or an equal and opposite reaction
We'll walk together next to the Clyde river
You'll see there isn't many ways we differ
Let's take the west-way with your friends and family
Let's make the truth become reality
I lost a friend but in the end
His memory lives in all the time we spend
It's often sung the good dye young
Look at the stars around the sun Luca
Stardust is where you came from
Look up to space from planet Earth Luca
The universe is where we come from
I lost a friend but in the end
His memory lives in all the time we spend
I know your mind and I know your thoughts
I know what you are and what you're not
I'll take the hits and I'll take the scars
I'll take you near & afar
I feel your pain I feel your fears
I feel your heartbeat in my ears
I lost a friend but in the end
His memory lives in all the time we spend
I know your mind I know your thoughts
I know what you are and what you're not
I'll take the hits I'll take a scar.
I'll take you near & afar.
I see in your eyes, I see your tears.
I see in your heart my sadness disappears.
