Some people also say the story works if the lyric was "drama-mania" because the listener can definitely feel the drama that might ensue.

The song has a fun dance beat with a bit of tension from the lyric which shows the main character as torn up about whether to stay or leave. I think it is a fairly universal lyric as many relationships end up in this situation, even sometimes when things are going fine.
