You had me from the first note. I loved the vocal and the music. I wanted more specific of why the girl did what she did in the verses and the big payoff in the chorus. Did you like specific instrumental parts--vocals

My favorite R & B era was about a decade long from around 64 to 74. This could easily have fit in there. Nice work.

First off, the Beat on the song is infectious!! Love the vocalist and the instrumentation is super cool. Has a Great Funk, R & B thing going on.....right out of the 80's! This tune.....would play well in a film. A Super Fly Retro sound from the past! It's just spot-on! Tremendous job, love to hear more from this Artist!!!!

This is a nice recording. The song writing is very minimalist with the lyrical content delivering the message in an tight effective way. "Reason to walk out the door" is the key lyric. The use of the piano and organ tones are effective within the song construct. The funk bass guitar line supports the drum groove.

I like the funky intro. The heavy drums, piano and the bass with the organ weaving in and out works really well. I particularly like the drum shuffle. The instrumental pull back at 2.38 is very effective. Strong vocal deliver. The song has great swagger, almost like some of Steely Dan's stuff.

solid beat. tasty slap bass. good vox capture. i like the synth also. it has a nice bounce. good breakdown. you have a great voice. go big. i always tell people to take chances musically. there are no rules only guidelines. its your world: do whatever you want. youre on to something here so go with it. i could see this selling somewhere on BJ.
