I made the beat and sat on it for while because I didn't see it for myself initially. Some time passed, and while I was listening to it again the words for the chorus started coming to mind and I felt compelled to use them. The verses still felt like they needed an outside touch so I chose 2 lyricists who were able to skillfully elaborate on the chorus as it pertained to their lives.
