The change of tempo on the outro at the end of this tune was really great. Should have been in earlier really nice playing lots of texture and interest here. The vocals were interesting.... the style was very cool.....Tom Waites comes to mind. Added great emphasis to the lyric. I felt first listen, that the first verse of the song needed to be a bit more space just the double bass , drums and grand piano. The drums needed to be warmer to wrap around your subject matter. I can see this song working well in sync with a little tweeking. Nice work thanx.

Very pretty song!! The music has a wonderful whimsical quality. The vocal is very passionate...hear a bit of Tony Bennett in your style. Lyrics are very interesting. The simple arrangement works perfectly for a song driven by story.

This is a cool, original jazzy tune and has potential. The vocalist sounds familiar, like I've reviewed this composer before, but it's an unconventional vocal style. It may not work for everything or everyone, but I like it with this song. I also like the arrangement. I like the switch to a double time feel later on the song.
