Story Behind The Song
My inspiration for the song, was to write a song to illustrate the mourning someone can have for a love that is gone.
The feeling behind it is what it feel like to be cuddled up in bed, hurting remembering, longing, missing, and trying to cope
Song Description
Curled up in a bed, on the floor, alone and melancholy about the loss of a love. We don't know if the love has left in body, or simply in spirit..but the one remembering, is trying to console themselves. The love was at times, cruel, unsatisfying, but real.

Lyrics
I remember how you looked at me in summertime,
as the water cooled my face,
when you loved me how I always thought the sun would shine,
I'm alright
I"m alright
I'm ok
Tried not to make
one mistake ....so you'd run away and not love me
"Don't look under the pillow,
I've been keeping your picture there..
Don't look under the sheets...
I'm asleep with your ghost
I remember how you looked at me in winter time,
How I knew we'd never be the same
You were cold and took away the sunshine
I'm alright
I'm alright
I'm ok
Sometime's I'd scream
out in the street
do anything so you'd hear me
"Don't look under the pillow,
I've been keeping your picture there..
Don't look under the sheets...
I'm asleep with your ghost
It's like the ending of the movie
the one i could never predict
so you take out a pen
and you try to pretend you can write an ending that fits.
I remember how you looked at me that last time,
How I knew that nothing would be the same
I said I love you more than you know
You said you love me so you ...
let go
