Lyrics

It's December, December the 16th
time to celebrate, celebrate with me

The snow is falling, on all the trees
it's so beautiful, makes me wanna sing
It makes me wanna sing

All these Christmas Carols, all these Christmas Trees
All these feelings coming over me
Their coming over me

But don't forget the love He brings
Yes Jesus Christ loves you and me
And hallelujah He's still king.

Down in Mexico, they reenact His birth
They sing about His love and peace on earth.
They pray for peace on earth

In the Philipines they celebrate and sing
They celebrate His birth for many weeks
They celebrate for weeks

But don't forget the love He brings
Yes, Jesus Christ loves you and me
Hallelujah He's still King, Hallelujah He's Still King, Hallelujah He's still king, He's Still King.

Thanks for keeping the message clear and strong! i like the chord you use towards the end of the progression--different and refreshing!

The song had a interesting subdued approach for a religious song. I liked the almost talking way the artist vocalized the song

I am not a huge fan of Religious Music, so I will be a tough reviewer.......sorry!! I actually really like the sound of the lead vocal, has a Bob Dylan, Tom Petty quality to it!! You might try using Band-in-A-Box to construct your compositions, they use real players and will make the over all music sound a tad more polished. Using BIABox....it's as if you are hiring live session players for your composition. These are just a few suggestions and just one person's opinion, see what other Broad Jam Members say about your song?

Here's a Christmas song with a new slant...it has a verse about how they celebrate Jesus' birth in Mexico. Nice drums and guitar and a heartfelt performance that communicates love and respect for Jesus Christ. I like the guitar and drums and the ending is nicely done.

captures indie folk/blues well, great job invoking Bob Dylan in the vocalisms...the bridge that summarizes and reverts back to home to close and fade, very skilled songwriting and a great performance as well.

You guys never disappoint. I still hear a lot of the Edgar Winter Group in here, especially in the transitions. Everything seems to mesh together here so perfectly. Fantastic job.
