Lyrics
LYRIC FOR) GROOVIN' WITH BERNARD (EDWARDS -R.I.P)
Stand up on your feet. Stand up on your feet.
Make you feel the fever, tonight x 2 (please correct me, on these lines)
1) Something strumming, vibing, grooving, makes me want to go back, in time.
You hear, I hear, we all have ears that just bring us close to the sound.
Sounds of a time that brought the bass and great harmonizing. Wow!
No one need ask "What's up, what's on?". It's the peak of sound. It's The Chic.
Bridge - I have Bernard on my mind
There's no one else of his kind
Bernard, keep me in line, in time with your groovy sound, all the time.
(Musical interlude)
2) Make no mistake. It's all about feeling good about the Chic groove.
Bernard and Nile made it so that everybody just has to move
Stand up on your feet, stand up on your feet...
