Story Behind The Song

So why did I include this song in the album? I ask myself that a lot. The girl singing with me and I have since taken different roads--hers has led her away from the Child of the Mother. She's had a lot of confusion enter her life, and has also tried to kill herself since then. But I believe firmly that no matter what, her life is precious, and I included this song as sort of a prayer to the Child that she would one day fall into flight, in His arms again, and rest, like He did.

Song Description

This is not a song I wrote. The soprano in the song (I'm the alto) introduced it to me, as she sang it in chorus in high school, so I believe it's public domain. It's written in old Spanish, and we sang this for Christmas. The music came off of a camcorder.
