Story Behind The Song

This was the first song I ever wrote....many moons ago. I penned it 5 days after first picking up a guitar....and learning the chords to the Eagles song " Tequila Sunrise " These were the ONLY chords I knew.......but enough to write a song !!!!!

Song Description

I wrote this song 5 days after I first picked up a guitar....more than 30 years ago. my father hated cigarettes and used to pounded us ( the kids ) for smoking. He used to say...." those bloody CANCER STIX " and somehow.....a song was born from those profound words !!
