Story Behind The Song

I can't stand people that destroys other peoples dreams, because of jealousy or because they think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. This is a song aimed towards the big group of people that blame everybody around them for the situation they are in, not realising that if they would get off their backsides and attempt something they may have a better life or, at least, feel happier. Whatever anybody from that group say to me, I will never quit before I've done everything in my power to reach my goals and dreams. This is because I'm a Survivor! I love the swingy big band arrangement Fredrik made for this song and Tine's harmonies reminds me a bit of wartime and The Harmony sisters.

I'm a Survivor is a song about never, ever giving up. It doesn't matter how many times people knocks you down, you continue to get up, because deep down inside you know you will succeed one day, and you are focusing on that goal however mean and jealous comments are thrown at you.
