Story Behind The Song
Inspired by the magic and moving majesty of The Grand Canyon. I was painting myself as a red tailed Hawk or something, wings wide open. Feeling really, really FREE, for once in my life. It takes courage and passion to get to freedom. The same courage I wanted people to have to get to the chorus, which, like enjoying freedom, really deserves it.
This is why this song is built that way, the begining is a bit boring, but there is a kind of an intrigue that should keep the audience alive and motivated to go to that ultimate point, where freedom is felt, on the top of the Grand Canyon.
