Story Behind The Song

The song is basically a call to untie Scotland. For example in football I find that people are more bothered about their local team rather than their national team. Someone once said they would prefer England to win rather than a rival Scottish player score. Rivalry is healthy but when we come together as a nation I think we should all unite.

Song Description

The song 'Don't Divide, Unite Us' was written for the Burnsong Songwriting Competition. It appealed to me as the purpose of Burnsong is to write songs with the ideals of Robbie Burns in mind.
