Super smooth, with hints and flavors from a variety of styles. The simple intro, with the guitars, percussion and vocals, is reminiscent of songs from the latter 60s early 70s.... in a real good way. Then the horns, the background vocals add to the calming textures just right. Keep up the good stuff! The best to you and have fun.

That was a Carpenter's kind of vibe. Good job.

Very well built and a versatile instrumentation. Everything fits well together and is balanced in the mix.

Beautiful vocals...
Atmosphere in the song is smooth, catchy and pleasant.

Nice song. I can hear it on a soundtrack or tv show. The lyrics are specific to New England, so for placements needing these words would be effective. The singer did a nice job though I would have like to hear her take it to another level. Still effective. Overall, I liked the song. The production was solid.

I enjoyed this tune. I liked the simplicity of the lyrics and the overall feel....kinda latin/bossa nova. Vocals were well done , liked the voice and the backup singers.

nice pace, production and vocal nice work IMO.

Really nice tune, easy on the ears with nice melodical movement. The instrumentals don't overpower the vocal. Good vocal tone and control, the only criticism I'd make on the vocals is just watch the vibrato at the ends of the phrases. Could maybe smooth those notes out a bit in the future, as sometimes the vibrato causes the note to fall flat at the end of the phrase.

Awesome work I really like the song. The originality was on point. The lyrics were great. I also love the instrumentals y'all used. You have a unique voice I like the delivery! I also like the chorus!

This is a real throwback 70s song, very reminiscent of a Burt Bacharach type tune.
The vocals and vocal pitch are outstanding. Beautiful pure tone and excellent delivery.
Instrumentation is excellent, the brass works perfectly, percussion is great.
Production very very strong here.
Great job, very professional sounding.

That is such a great song it reminds me of the style of the carpenters. Cool lyrics and vocals are amazing all round sound is great got that 60s 70s flava about it.

Damn good track, great vocals. This is great quality. Just the right amount of warmness.

The singing is very sixties, between Sandie Shaw and Dusty Springfield. I appreciate that. And the song is, partially, a retro-ballad, with a successful pop refrain. It's surely skillfully done. Wait. I think I heard this song when it was a demo sung by a male singer, the author. I think it's a good production.

Pretty voice - reminds me of Olivia Newton-John, and also that era of music. Instrumentation and recording were good.

Seems to me I've heard or reviewed this song before. You sure picked the right genre for it. Very easy listening pop. Easy to listen to, easy to like, easy to understand. Your voice is clear and right on target. Instrumentation works well for the song. Very well-written lyrics, nothing trite. Nothing to cringe at. Well-produced, well-put together.

Beautiful vocals and the synthesizer really sounds good as well.

A nice easy listening track with a retro feel that oozes coolness, with some very nice lush vocals and a high quality production , the strings and drums work well. a very nice track

Nice sounding retro 60's pop, like Dionne Warwick, etc.

Very nicely done. Love the lyrical idea of this song, but more importantly, the vocals sound amazing! I really enjoyed listening to this track. It has a retro 70's vibe to it... Even true to some of the instrumentation chosen. Great job!

It has a great hook, the Instrumentation is great, and the singer has a fantastic voice. The song reminds me of Olivia Newton John who also has a great voice.

The song has a very catchy groove and I love the Major Sevenths. I like the sweetness and slight airiness of the vocals. Some real nice lines - "we almost made the long hard climb - with you I'd climb those hills again", "you took the wrong way home". I like the horns - they give it a bit of an old time feel, maybe a bit like Vicki Carr.

Happy reggae vibe to this tune! Great story lyrics, outstanding voice, and excellent instrumentation. Very catchy melody all good here!

If I were drunk on a boat... This band would help me back to my room if I asked them to. It's more than most people might do. That's pretty fantastic if you ask me. What? I'm reviewing a song? Oh crap... I thought it was happy hour.

Nice vocals - sounds a little like Olivia Newton John. The arrangement is subtle and does not interfere but rather supports the vocals which is perfect for this style of song. The background vocals also add nicely to the song and are perfect for the style. The suspension leading into verse two adds a nice touch, as well.

Fitting this in the modern sound of c=w is easy, complete with enough information in the story and flow of the song, which, they tell me, is essential to c-w today. I like the vocalist quite a bit, and love the pitch she maintains throughtout the song, very good vocal and control The song is also about the right length for commercial release I believe.

This is the power of this song. I had this only once on Mike Fox page, and this came in a random review, and I could immediately recognize the song. Very nice, this will be in some movie or TV series sooner or later.

Nice, good song. Love that voice
