This particular song talks about two people who were in love with each other since High School and had to make a decision on their paths as they ventured off to different colleges to their destiny after finishing school and earning degrees. both wanted marriage and a family but perspective jobs in different states kept them apart from each other because of their demand, But the two never stopped loving one another and life changes affected their future plans and the two never reunited and ended up with families other than the one that they truly wanted. This chapter in the the couples life was never closed.
