Story Behind The Song
This is the instrumental version of my song Sorrow which was written in a mood of unspeakable anguish and despair in the wake of horrific reports of violent sexual crimes against women and children in India and elsewhere. The version with vocals is in a non-language [gibberish] to convey despair that is beyond words and language. This is the shorter instrumental version
Song Description
This is a finger style acoustic guitar driven track in a bed of middle eastern percussion with melodic elements that include a reversed lead guitar, Vocoder, the Persian Ney, commence, Zurna, Oud and strings. The vocoder refrain resonates with the sombre mood while the reversed lead guitar solo deposits stifled screams.
