Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song because of my fear of heights. My family and I where on vacation when we had to climb up 2 flights to leave a museum bc the elevators where held up. I near about had a panic attack. My husband felt sorry for me and kept saying we can just wait for the elevators(which would have taken forever and our kids where really grumpy) I told him no and told him and the kids to go ahead of me. I clung to the rail and was in tears, but we made it to the top. I was shaking so bad. I ended up writing the song as soon as we got home. This happened back in March and I will say happily that since then in June my husband and I hiked a mountain. I was nervous but you have to overcome your fear to ever move forward.

Lyrics
Verse 1:
An extremely big fear of mine
Is climbing things that go up high
The higher I climb, the more fearful I get
What if I fall, trip, or even slip
Chorus: x1
I'm 2 flights scared and I don't know what to do
Seems no one knows what I'm going through
It's all ok, just got to clear my mind
and take this life 1 step at a time
Verse 2:
I feel the cold sweats and my stomach turns
The dizziness starts to over run
I start to shake, but I can't stop now
I look ahead and I don't look down
Chorus x1
Verse 3:
One day, I began to realize
this fear of mine is a thing called life
We struggle to make it to the top
we face our fears and never stop
Chorus x1
Through the tears and all the fears
It's worth it all when you make it here
