Story Behind The Song
I was home from work, sick, one day and I was in my livingroom recording on a four track. The TV was on. The X-Men. I rarely watch TV but there was a "Cartoon Hot" character on the X-men who's name was Amelia and she just happen to have red hair. I was crushin on this chick Katie whom I befriended but only after dating one of her good friends for over two years. I was on her no fly list I guess. She was a fair skinned Irish hottie. She knows this song is about her.

Lyrics
Amelia
Oh Amelia, let down your gold-red hair.
Spun by the hands of the gods.
I can't let you get away this time.
Oh Amelia, stay by my side.
Oh Amelia, something in nature makes our paths cross.
Over and over every now and then, again.
Oh don't let me get away this time.
Oh Amelia, I'll stay by your side.
Amelia!
Oh Amelia, come and lay down with me.
You and you alone I want to Know, Oh.
When we're together we are so free, all the time.
Oh, Amelia, here we are side by side.
Oh Amelia, Oh Amelia!!!
