Story Behind The Song
"This song came to me while thinking about a kid that I went to high school with. He was a freshman and was not the most popular guy and didn't talk much. If I'm being honest, I don't remember even knowing who he was before the day that I heard he had committed suicide. One of my good friends at the time was also friends with him and was the last person to see him alive, it changed his life.
Seeing bullying in the news and on social media nowadays has opened my eyes to the fact that bullying doesn't just affect the one person, it has many victims. The family members, friends, loved ones of that person will never be the same. This song is about standing up to the bullies and never giving up on life, no matter your struggle."

Lyrics
It's never too Late Jacob Peetz ©
When they look back
Back on that night
Parents said they were wrong
But they knew it felt right
He said "we're keeping our baby"
Growing inside
We promise to love him
Till the day that we die
CHORUS
It's never too late Never to tough
Never that bad that we should never give up
The good times we'll have
Will outshine the rough
It's never too late
Don't ever give up
Now a man and his wife
Been separated for years
The loss of their son
Brought heartache and tears
He put his arm around her
Said baby it's been awhile
She said "I still miss his face"
He said "I miss your smile"
CHORUS
It's never too late Never to tough
Never that bad that we should never give up
The good times we'll have
Will outshine the rough
It's never too late
Don't ever give up
He was a young freshman boy
Was just coming up
The first week of school
He got picked on too much
One day he went home
Found his daddy's gun
Nobody was there
A life was undone
CHORUS
It's never too late
To ever give up
To say that you're sorry
For things that you've done
Should do unto others
As we would have done
It's never too late
Please
Don't ever give up
