Cool intro, reminded me of George Harrison. Vocals are original and heartfelt. Cool instrumentation, I like the acoustic part very much, some tension and then the second guitar came in panned hard to the left, nice set ups! Enjoyed the two part guitar harmony. Very good guitar melodies happening. Nice lyrical change ups in the second verse... worked well. Cool how the sections blend into one another.
A nicely haunting and mystical piece with a nice flow that keeps you interested from start to finish. Sound effects work well, and the instrumentation is kept simple, which is great for this piece.
I like what you're trying to do here. It has a definite "shape" to it, and the contrasting rhythms of the guitars in the middle instrumental section is nice. The song has a bit of a Nick Drake feel to it. And with repetitions help to reinforce the feel of being on a train.
Thematically, I can sympathize. We've all seen that "pretty girl/guy" on a bus/train/whatever, and been attracted to them, and wondered more about them, for the duration of that enforced proximity of the situation (train ride, wait in a waiting room, etc.). Also, I realy like the cadence of the hook line, "Pretty girl on a train."
Instrumentation is appealing
unusual repetion of lyrics, haunting melody, nice tasteful slide liked it
Wonderful voice, beautiful voice...... I like the lyrics, though they are few. But the repetition that could have been boring in another arrangement is here very pleasant because of the voice that sings the song. The timbre is downright delicious. The instrumentation matches the voice pleasantly. The song is going on my playlist.
