Story Behind The Song
I'm very in to empowering and trying to stick to a positive outlook even if things are going bad, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but struggling with depression can be tough. My songs, especially this one, is about me trying to break out of old habits and accept the new.
Song Description
I'm using the "bird of prey" as an example of power, of strength and establishment. These type of birds are usually very strong and their will can be feared by prey, leaving these types of creatures very high up on the food chain. Nothing will bother them and they usually turn on the winner.

Lyrics
The moon casts a shadow on my soul
I'm flying high and then I fly low
Obstacles give me the chance to grow
Watch out I'll go right for the goal
Like a bird of prey
Think I'm gonna stay
It's a brand new day
No longer locked away
(Oh, like a bird of prey)
Bird on the wire bringing the fire
Moving on with this pent up desire
Broken wings will only reach higher
Snakes are habitual liars
CHORUS
I'll be sinking below the water
Feathers drenched, screaming louder
