Story Behind The Song
Kreg wrote this song for his wife after 10 years of marriage and 2 children, to celebrate that their love was as strong as ever and that an Old Fashioned Love in the bonds of marriage is the best kind of love.
Song Description
Kreg wanted to write a song to describe how he felt about love with his wife in a world that was increasingly pushing the idea that it is OK to have sex with anyone at anytime and that any kind of love works. In this song, he describes being with the same person morning, noon and night and that the love that they have for each other within their marriage is the old fashioned kind that will always be there.

Lyrics
As we lie, together you and I
slowly the dawn begins to glow
gently you wake me,
and then you take me,
where no one else can ever go.
Sometimes in the morning,
when sunbeams are fallin',
you turn to me softly and say,
"Darlin' I love you,
there's no one above you,
so love me, the old fashioned way."
And sometimes at noonday,
when bluebirds are callin' to me,
you gaze in my eyes and say,
"Love me forever,
Oh, leave me never,
just love me, love me, the old fashioned way."
In our old fashioned love,
where the wonder of life never ends,
where the glory of living begins,
in our old fashion love.
Sometimes in the evenin',
when crickets are singin'
you lay down beside me and say
Darlin', please hold me,
care for me only,
just love me, love me, the old fashioned way,
the old fashioned way, the old fashioned way.
