Story Behind The Song
A close friend of mine lost her 14 year old daughter. I wanted to write a song about how much pain I felt for her but didn't want it to be so sad she couldn't listen to it. So it is inspirational as well as dealing with pain.
Song Description
This is a song about helping a loved one through the loss/death of a child. How painful it is but how even this pain will diminish with time. It will eventually be OK.

Lyrics
Verse
Pain...is filling up your eyes
Love I'm diving in
Gonna help you fight this fight
So please don't let me go
You just keep a hold
Together we'll taste tears tonight
Pre & Chorus
I know this world seems so cold
As each day just rolls on by
A Broken Lullaby
It steals a love
As it takes a life
You can never be too strong
For such a sad, sad song
but when you hear it play
It doesn't mean goodbye
Inside this darkness we'll find light
It's O.K. to cry
A Broken Lullaby
Verse
Now...her sweet picture from a frame
Tells us heaven's blessed
But there's things left unexplained
Like how a heart's reborn
As the grounds stays warm
Even when it's pourin' rain
Pre&Chorus
Bridge
Time washes clean
So just let things be
If you don't fight what you feel
Everything heals...you're gonna heal
Chorus
