Lyrics

In that season between seasons
No longer in the fall
It really isn't winter
It's not anything at all
There's always a little rainfall
There's always a little snow
Rainflakes swirling
In a gray sky over all.

And I'll never see tomorrow
Just like I see today
Nothing's really clear when you're away
Rainflakes. (Snow and rain.)

In that season between seasons
When the weather makes no sense
Just a cloud of indecision
And a loss of confidence
I guess it won't seem normal
As far as I can see
No, it just won't seem normal
Until you're back with me.

And I'll never see tomorrow, Just like I see today
Nothing's really clear when you're away
Rainflakes. (Snow and rain.)

Singer has a great voice surrounded by strong instrumentation. Harmonies sounding tight and strong. Song moves very well through its changes. I like the overall feel of the song. Always love the sound of a good alto sax. The harmony's are great, kind of has a Celtic feel and a folk vibe but still keeps an American feel.

I love the short intro with acoustic guitar and 'ooh' vocals, (I'll have to incorporate that trick into a song of mine in the future;-). I think the lyric idea is original and engaging. Lovely lead vocal performance and excellent use of backing vocals. The song is packed with hooks. It's very, very catchy. I like the way the instrumentation pulls back for the second verse. The sax solo was unexpected but delightful. Great arrangement all round. A genuinely beautiful song and recording.

Very nice and easy to listen to. Though I put it in the jazz genre, it could've easily gone in the pop category. It also had a slight country western feel to it but not enough to classify it as CW. This would make a very nice song to play during an early event like a jazz brunch. I really liked the vocals very smooth. Definitely a song for film also.

Not my regular genre; however, I would love to hear more music from this artist. Reminds me of the Bee Gees

thesis really nice..... ....
