Story Behind The Song
I watched a three hour series about the "Armeggedon" on the History Channel on New Year's Eve (I'm like an old lady who is afraid to drive around on NYE, let alone spend $$ I don't have at a club somewhere) anyway ... it really affected me and it forced me to look at the world I live in today. While I was thumbing through old Traditional songs I could remake, I thought Carol of the Bells was such a beautiful tune ...
But I also felt like the old Traditional lyrics didn't really present what I felt the music said. The traditional lyrics are all about being glad and cheerful, but the music to me felt quite sad and anxious.
So my lyrics reflect that. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I enjoyed making it.

Lyrics
Hark! How the bells, sweet silver bells
All seem to say, "Throw your cares away."
Though I can't help but to think to myself ...
What about the End of Days?
What about the End of Days?
Ding, Dong, Ding, Dong
End of Days
Going to war with nothing to fight for
Killing everyone
We just keep on keep on
People die in vain
Dying everywhere
Nothing seems to change ...
Hark! How the bells, sweet silver bells
All seem to say, "Throw your cares away."
Though I can't help but to think to myself ...
What about the End of Days?
What about the End of Days?
Ding, Dong, Ding, Dong
End of Days
All we can do
Live the best we can
Try to forget
How to be sad
Listen to the trees
Listen to the wind
Get down on my knees
Pray for Him to bring
Bring about the End of Days
Oh ...
Bring about the Revelations ...
What about the End of Days?
What about the End of Days?
Ding, Dong, Ding, Dong
End of Days ...
