Story Behind The Song
I work for people with physical disabilites. I was inspired for this song when I thought about how God is in each person I serve. Also, I thought about how God is in my children as I care for them.
Song Description

Lyrics
I Called You Into My Heart
(Refrain)
Oh how, I called you into my heart.
Like a lover, I called but you won't listen.
How I long to hold you here in my arms.
And to give you my love but you're not willing.
(Verse 1)
I am jealous, beloved don't you love me?
O let none before me I'm the One.
My own life I poured out so you would live in me.
Won't you please receive me when I come. (to refrain)
(Verse 2)
Oh you see me in all the poor and lonely.
If I'm ugly, please don't turn away.
Oh you hear me in children who cry for you at night
For I need you to come to me today
(Last Chorus)
Are you ready to let me into your heart?
Like a lover, I called but will you listen?
How I long to hold you here in my arms
And to give you my love but are you willing?
