Story Behind The Song
This song is a "Dance" version of the original "Jazz" version. Of which I wrote several years ago.
By swapping the minor 6th chords for straight minor, in the "A"part and writing a different part for the "B"part, a completely new version emerged.
I took a recording of it along to "The Coach House Studios" in Clifton, Bristol where an excellent musical arranger by the name Martin Laight, made an excellent arrangement of it, got a lovely jazz vocalist called Joss Dunlevy singing on it and it was really starting to cook, so I had it recorded at "The Coach House," where "Portishead," "Massive Attack," and "Danni Monogue" used to record.

Lyrics
Hear the sound of the beat in the night, as the stars in the East show delight.
People move side to side in their style, as they dance by the side of The Nile.
People movin', people groovin' Eastern Paradise....
