Story Behind The Song
A bass player said, " don't push me so hard!" when I suggested a bit different bass line, while practicing. It gave me the first line of a song , and the song was sang on the spot. The darker twist came out of the blue.

PUSH HARD
Copyright 2001 Jeff Person
DonÂ?t push me so hard she said to his face
She spoke with her eyes and blood on her face
DonÂ?t push me so hard IÂ?ve told you before
And now that you know I wonÂ?t tell you no more
Refrain: Up against the wall, I ainÂ?t gonna take anymore
Up against the wall, You arenÂ?t walking out that door
He started to laugh, as he turned away
He started to walk when he heard her say
Refrain: Up against the wall, I ainÂ?t gonna take anymore
Up against the wall, You arenÂ?t walking out that door
She squeezed off a round. He looked so surprised
And as he fell down, and Death filled his eyes
She said, Up against the wall Mother fucker
I ainÂ?t gonna take anymore
Up against the wall, You arenÂ?t walking out that door
DonÂ?t push me so hard she said to his face
She spoke with her eyes and blood on her face.
