WHERE THE FISH ALL GO TO HIDE ©

The Birds Are Singing
And The Sun Is Shinning
Somewhere Else Today
But In My World, I Keep On Grinning
I Find Another Answer And A New Beginning
All In The Winking Of An Eye

The Rain Is Falling
And The Thunder's Clapping
Lightning Cracks The Sky
But I Can Walk Through That Cloudy Rainstorm
Getting Kind Of Wet, But In My Heart It Stays Warm
Knowing That My Love Will Never Die

---Chorus---
I'll Find A Little Peace Of Mind
While I'm Wasting My Time
Don't Mind The Little Piece Of Time
That I'm Wasting To Find
Where The Fish All Go To Hide
----------------

The Wind Has Stripped
All The Trees Of Color
The Leaves Are On The Ground
But Into Every Life,I Borrow
Something Of Today,I Can Use Tomorrow
All In The Winking Of An Eye

The Clouds Are Hiding
All The Twinkling Starlight
The Moon Is Hung So Low
But I Can Feel A Change In Weather
Shifting In The Air Like A Floating Feather
Knowing That My Love Will Never Die

-Repeat Chorus-

Really lovin' the cool, retro vibes of this song. Kind of takes me back to a simpler times when music was the soundtrack of our lives. The lyrics are visual, which is the hallmark of great writing. There also are some really nice, unexpected chord changes in this tune, which I liked a lot. The chorus is very catchy too.

Here's a happy-go-lucky, good feeling song to play on the way to your next "go fishing" day off. Promotes good feeling and smiles with references to every kind of weather. Really fun and easy-going melody, really suits the lyric and mood of the song. Nice hook, love the way it goes us with peace/piece and the play on words. Favorite rhyme: weather/feather. You've got a great voice and a terrific style. Great job!

Very cool country sir.....I love the feeling of ur sound......great lyrics and sweet instrumental tracks - I'll be giving this a 5star rating for sure.....

pleasant easy listening song, nice vocals.

nice progression---refreshing-----good job. very seasoned warbler here. wondering what kind of daw you are using.

enjoyable tune...well done....

Good for a traditional country tune

Really, really like this. Makes me think of the 50's when they did those kind of haunting and bittersweet ballads, with just a touch of reverb. Good, good lyrics. Definitly 50's style. Fifty years ago this wouldn't be original, but it is today. A fresh sound, especially compared to all the canned/manufactured music we hear on the radio....The easy-going vocals go right along with the rhythm. ...I don't know a great deal about the do's and don'ts of arranging, but everything seems to fit and flow easily. And I would hope that some radio station would at least give this song some airplay, because it's a fresh sound and very easy-to-listen-to. This song may be headed in a different direction than the current flavor of the week music, but it's certainly a good song. I enjoyed it.
