What a beautiful tribute to the human condition...it has the positives and the negatives of life, but presented in a heartwarming way that makes you glad to be alive after you've listened to it. This would be a good song to sing at a funeral, I think. The vocals are crystal clear, love the female background vocal and harmony. Well done. Guitar and violin very pleasing. Great ending. Love the intro too. Bravo!

THis is a really nice song....quite philosophical, which appeals to me! There are some interesting and thoughtful lyrics. I like the relatively sparse arrangement with the vocal featured quite prominently. Nicely done!

As usual with this artist, the recording is phenomenal. The violin player adds so much to the arrangement, and the dynamic in the drums is excellent. I love the lead guitar work as well. A beautifully sentimental song, the music and lyrics all fit the emotion and mood. I thought the harmonies were spot on as well.

very authentic Americana - could go into Country genre as easily as Folk, both genres work for this track. vocals were nicely understated and fulfilled the role of storytelling. altogether, nicely done.
