Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song in the lead up to the USA election in 2009. I was hopeful that everyone in the USA would get out there and vote. If everyone did, we'd be a very encouraged nation because it would demonstrate a huge "care factor". But the song is more general than that. It says that until we all figure out how to live our lives in a loving way, we will cast a shadow when on the contrary, everyone could be fed, sheltered, clothed, nurtured, educated and HAPPY! Yep, everyone!!!

Song Description

This song encourages us to step up when we know there is something positive we can do for someone, or something or ourselves. The easier choice is to hold back and hide away what we have to offer.
