Story Behind The Song
After watching some videos and reading some interesting on the subject of the moon landing, I came to the conclusion that it was reasonable to question it. In particular, I found Stanley Kubrick's connection to NASA and his rumoured involvement to very interesting - Hence, the song title. Did Stanley help them fake it? He had a strange penchant for referencing the Apollo landing in his films and hinting that it was faked. All food for thought; they couldn't recall seeing stars?
I find the whole debate or question, fascinating.
Could they fake it? Did they fake it? Fool the man, that blindly accepts and never questions.
Song Description
There are a number of questions that have been raised about the landing and for a long time. They say they've proven it, yet, the questions still persist. According to the story, "if" it was faked, they faked in with Stanley's help and on the sound-stage, lot...where he filmed 2001.
...or so the story goes.

Lyrics
Cameras in the way of the moon
Armstrong and we'll be there soon
Stanley Kubrick says that we can
And it's a giant leap for man
Got to beat the Russians out there
Even if we don't play fair
Throw up some stage lights
And we'll shoot the whole thing on Stanley's lot
Don't tell me that this hasn't crossed your mind
We'll bring the networks in and broadcast tape to live
Don't cha think we can pull it off?
Cameras in the way of the moon
Armstrong and we'll be there soon
Stanley Kubrick says that we can
And it's a giant leap for man
Don't tell me that this hasn't crossed your mind
We'll bring the networks in and broadcast tape to live
Don't cha think we can pull it off?
Tell me what its like on the moon
Can you see your footprints in the moisture-less soil?
Tell me what it's like on the moon
Did you see the stars that were above?
