Story Behind The Song

I wanted to write a song about a character...This old friend of mine was definitely a hell of a candidate...unfortunately we buried him today..2/18/11. His Son Bill Workman Jr. is a great dirt track racer...just like his dad...so In memory of his papa I worked this fun tune up. I've been wanting to bring in the band and produce this for years. The lyric I feel captures him pretty good. It tickles me..and tickled the band as they did it. I hope it in some way gives some comfort to his loved ones, who on behalf of the band I extend the deepest sympathy for their loss. All our worlds are a lot more boring with the loss of this true.."WILD MAN". God Bless WILD MAN BILLY.
