Story Behind The Song
This song is very special to me since it is the first song I wrote and composed on my own in my teenage years! It is a simple song that speaks about the need each of us has for someone to love them.
This song was performed in an inter-church music competition at a Youth Festival organized by the Archdiocese of Delhi in 1985 and it won the first prize. It was the only original song performed in the competition.
This performance also helped us get a chance to sing on TV. In 1986, we performed my songs in a dedicated television programme and it was followed by two more programmes on TV.
Infact this is a recording of the song while it was performed on Television. I would like to prepare a new version of the song with fresh music.
It has got me many prizes in since then too. My classmates in school (+2) liked this song a lot and many of my friends still remember it.

It is something that every human being can identify with... Whether as a lover, friend or family we need someone to love us. We need real genuine love and concern from other humans so we can live, thrive and be happy.
