Lyrics
Early man he was a hunter
He worshipped the moon at night
That?s cuz that?s when the critters come out
But he didn?t have much reason to fight
He had to travel fast and lightly
With just what he had on his back
Plenty of everything around him
His instincts sharp as a tack
Then came the ice age
Most of the animals all died
Nothing left for him to chase after
Things probably got bad, he probably cried
So man became a farmer
Now he worshipped the sun
Lived on the land next to the water
Gave up his life on the run
Since he now stayed in one place
He had to start to own the land
Started to collect stuff
Sometimes even other men
Now he had been given a reason
?What is yours and what is mine??
Our ancestors may seem like animals
But they may have had it right all of the time
