Lyrics

It was a beautiful day,
'til the clouds rolled in,
you and I ran for cover...
knowing the rain would soon begin

Ain't it funny how you know
when the thunder begins,
ain't it funny how you know
when the rain decends,
ain't it funny how you know,
when its really... done...

Well I don't know where I'm going
but I sure know where I been
down this same old raod for years
trying to find myself, again and again,
never knowing...
what's around the bend

Tied on a rack,
stones have all been thrown,
even though I hurt,
I know I'll go home
and find myself starring in a role where I don't know my lines...

seems thats how life always goes, you practice your part,
but you never know,
cause it never works out that way...

Well I don't know where I'm going
but I sure know where I been
down this same old raod for years
trying to find myself, again and again,
never knowing...
what's around the bend

It was a beautiful day,
'til the clouds rolled in,
you and I ran for cover...
knowing the rain would soon begin

nice acoustic track. good vocals and nice sounding guitar and sound quality is great. very melancholy a song of feeling than fancy hooks and big production. which works for me. enjoyed

simple start up alright. heartfelt as well. sounds like it would fit in a cowboy movie maybe

At first..I thought the singer had a Bruce Springsteen sound, but as the tune progresses, maybe not!! Still a great feel and sound to his vocal.......such passion in his style!! And even though there is only a vocal and a guitar in the arrangement, the tune really works! Although, I could hear some killer steel or dobro guitar parts......just a thought!! But the composition works just the way it is...........TREMENDOUS JOB!!! Lets hear more.........

Nice clear vocals. good country "cryin in your beer" song. I can imagine this in a movie soundtrack for sure.

Wow, what a nice, crystal clear recording. It really showcases your heartfelt vocal and sweet guitar playing. I like the story of verse 1, running for cover from the rain...then it seems like you tell (the girl?) your life story. The chorus reminds me of a scripture I recently read in Ecclesiastes 10:14: No man knows what will happen, and who can tell him what will come after him?" Verse 2 also presents a very real scenario (practice the part...but you never know). Reminds me of set lists I've abandoned once I started playing for an audience. Keep up the good writing.

i like the melody of the song ...

I just finished listening to your song, nice job, simple and tasty. I liked the strumming guitar part, nicely played and clean recording. I also liked the lyrics and the tone of the voice, recording of the voice was also clean and nice performance. All the best and good luck with the song!

You have a great voice and it was sang with lots of emotion.I could see this being a southern rock / country song in the back ground of a movie with a few little tweaks. The lyrics were good but with a little tweak on the hook could make it awesome.

Heartfelt ballad in a country /folk style. Strong vocals and solid guitar backing.

The guitar sounds beautiful. The vocal has a bob dylan feel to me. Im not a expert in country music though.

Strong lyrics and solid arrangement. Recording quality sounded top notch. The vocal quality and guitar playing were strong.

I like the sound of the lead singer and the rhythm guitar really has a great sound as well.

A nice somber song a was able to breathe in and reflect with. Suitable for licensing ops that have that introspective and reflective mood as a requirement. Simple. Simple is good. I wouldn't buy it personally but I'd use it for the right television show or scene in a film surely.

Calm, comfortable and approachable. This song, with a simple acoustic guitar and clean vocal, works just right. It's like a friend telling a story and your just sitting by listening. And enjoying every minute of it! Great tune. And nicely done.

real nice and unique i like it , you go !
