Lyrics

I woke up this mornin with a shock that made me shout 2x
Turn'd on my water faucet and fire came out the spout.

Went over to my neighbor to see if there was somcething he could do 2x
He said he couldn't help me, he had fire in his water, too.

I call'ed my politicans to see what was going down 2x
My congresswoman laughed and said, "Honey, fracking has come to your town!"

(spoken) Hydraulic fracturing, "frackin" is when oil corporations drill liquid carcinogens deep into the earth to exploit shale, turning it into what they call "natural" gas. It threatens drinking water and other damages to properties that cannot be undone.

WE GOT FRACKIN HERE IN 34 STATES, SEVEN TO EIGHT YEARS AND YOUR SOIL HAS GONE TO WASTE BECAUSE OF DRILLING FILTHY CHEMICALS INTO THE EARTH. THEY OUGHTA BE ASHAMED, BUT THEY DON'T CARE WHO THEY HURT:
NO FRICKIN FRACKIN, I SAY. GO OUT AND SPREAD THE NEWS, OR ELSE EVERYBODY'S GONNA HAVE THE FRICKIN FRACKIN BLUES.
