Lyrics

The Wind & The Rain
by Cheryl Gross

verse: Everytime I see you baby, Oh, I know its for real, Everytime I see you I know just how you feel.
chorus:
The wind and the rain, they know my name
The wind and the rain, they feel the same

verse:
You and me baby, we know wrong from right,
And all those visions we have are plain and in sight,
Everytime I see you I know whats on your mind,
Oh yes I do

chorus:
The wind and the rain, they know your name
The wind and the rain, they feel the same

The wind and the rain, they know my name
The wind and the rain, they know my name

The wind and the rain, they feel the same
The wind and the rain, they feel the same

The wind and the rain, they know my name

Nice Piece, very catchy melody,

I really liked the Guitar work in the song. The Bass and Drums were very present with out being overly loud that was a good balance with the guitars. The vocals were good too. The song had a kind of Kenny Loggins feel and sound to it. over all a very catchy tune!

Good song writing

Great intro. I like how the guitars come in hard panned left and right. It draws you in to hear more of the song. The harmonies are nice and to me this piece has some elements that remind me of Neil Young.

I liked this. I would call this "country" of sorts with a little bit of progressive rock elements. I thought you had a nice variety of parts in this song and I thought they transitioned well throughout. I especially liked the drone bass you used in the "the wind and the rain" part. I also liked how your bassist changed up his/her part as the song progressed.

great picking, good feel somehow reminds me old old Marshal Tucker stuff, seem to me to have a bit of a British feel to it that's nice. likes the sound of the singers voice. a nice song, somebody ought to make a hit out of it. good job, thanks for sharing

I loved the guitar work in the intro, good stuff. I loved the melody of the song it made you want to dance and tap your toes. it had a very nice chord progression. I could see it being a southern rock kind of song as well. I really loved the instruments you used it made the song have a little pop. It does have market poetential with the new country rock sound.

Doesn't fit the Country-boogie spot (clicked on boogie-country) but the song is a good boogie rock...grooves pretty good...nce GTR licks.... reminds me a bit of early seventies stuff....

I like the changes in the song. Great vocals. Nice harmonies The mix is good. Good instrumentation. Nice tempo

has a good groove feel.... fun song... as a live 'gig' song it probably gets 'em moving...

Really like the way this one moves. The breakdowns and quick changes keep the song interesting. Vocals are a lot of fun. Not your standard 4/4 or 3/3 country tune - I kept wondering what was coming next. Love the drum switch half way through.

OOh, this has a nasty groove. well played and sung. Nice recording. Just one problem

great sound, lots of energy and its a 9.9999

Kickin Country loaded with emotion!!
