Story Behind The Song
As a young song writer I was told by my BMI representative to try and write from experience. Thus "Summer Love" came about. While vacationing in Florida I had met a young man on the beach. He was "Standing there, In the Sand, Looking Grand" At that point I ran with writing lyrics for this song.
