Looking for Home

Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song after moving to Downtown Seattle ( in Belltown). After ending a long-term relationship & starting a new job, I found myself alone, living in a big city. This song is about self-discovery & making home wherever you at.

Lyrics

Over the city
the moon is rising
bathing us in it's pale blue light

A million people
Each with a story
So let me tell you,
Tell you about my life

I Came to the city
Looking for home

Came to the city
to call it my own

I?m gonna call it, call it my own (3x)

and I came to the city
looking for home
and I find myself in Belltown
Looking for home

A different life, than I?ve ever known
10 million people, but I still feel alone
I?m ready , ready to live, ready to give
Ready, Ready, to call this city my home
