Story Behind The Song
When writing He Believes, I was inspired by the dreams and unique personalities of each of the individuals on this expedition to build a homestead deep in the wilds of Alaska. We never doubted our dreams!

Lyrics
HE BELIEVES -
David Walburn © 2003
VERSE He left his home, he left his heart with his family
And he headed west with all his dreams
Across the Great Divide north to Alaska
Making friends and memories
CHORUS ?Cause he knows just what he?s after
As crazy as he may seem
That Cabin in Alaska
In the dream, He Believes, he?s free, He Believes
VERSE He?s singing a song to everyone as a gesture
Wearing his heart out on his sleeve
He carries a smile like the world?s in his back pocket
Oh, so easy to please
CHORUS (repeat) As simple as he may seem
VERSE (Repeat first verse Chorus/out)
VERSE
Now he?s sitting on his front porch playing his six string
And singing the stories of his life
We all gather round to listen
Laughter and song fill the night
CHORUS (repeat)
