Story Behind The Song
Got the idea from imagining about hobos, ex-prisinores and wild Indians that have come from deep in the space to eat us and break the Earth. Our Don Juan, swamp dog, is disheveled as his space craft crashes iinto a lake up in the outskirts. He charms the beheld sight of the galaxy when he finds her. He is the Loner Lover Man. Oh, just dreamin' . . .

Lyrics
Loner Lover Man D. Clare
VERSE 1
Well I waded through water; felt like I walked through mud
And then I came to in some town looked like been hit by a flood
It was fated, I was faceless in the blood red sun down
I walked in to a roadhouse diner on the outskirts of town
I called to the leggy waitress for some eats
She gave me a glass of water, hmmm, tough piece of meat
VERSE 2
I said ?Hey now, lovely lady, don?t you know who I am??
She said, ?Listen, now frankly stranger, you?re just another man?
I had to show her nice and slowly; I had the upper hand
To make her see now that I would be her one and only lover man
CHORUS
Her loner lover man, her only lover
Her loner lover man, yeah I?m her lover
VERSE 3
Love is a lethal poison, many a mans fate
It takes a man like me to know it; she had met her mate
I loved her hot and wonton, no not some one-night stand
Now could you ever fall in love with just your one and only
Lover Man ?
