Story Behind The Song

my dad was suffering from a lung disease plus cancer, he fought off cancer the first time but it came back 7 years later where he experienced pain and he had to deal with that plus his lung condition. The whole time he would hide his pain but I could see it in his eyes.

Song Description

A daughter watching her father suffer for some time. she remembers stories told to her about when she was a baby and how her dad wanted to hold her but she hated being held and now she wants him to hold her as long as he can as he passes away before her eyes.
