Not my personal bag, but well done....
Great idea for the lyric....strong writing!!! I love the message and the way it is driven!! Music is really strong in every way...instrumentation, production, vocal, mix....the whole enchilada! Excellent job!!!
Here is a motivational song that is original, brutally honest, and REALLY ROCKS! Every now and then you hear a fresh voice and style that really impresses you. This is one of those times. My favorite line is the one about sitting on his duff. The subject matter is excellent, something that many people struggle with. Great instrumentation and background vocals. What's not to like about this song? I love it!
The intro guitar hook is strong. The vocal phrasing is good. The arrangement and shorter second verse keeps the song moving. The rests also help keep the song fresh. Good organic drums and alternative guitar tones support a band feel and genre credibility. Great job!
Very well done song. Great instrumentation, especially the brief guitar solos. Really effective backing vocals. Very good hook and bridge. Meaningful, motivational lyrics.
Hard-rock/pop thingie with a full sound.
Strong drummer, really catchy guitar parts
Overall the bands performance on this track was solid. I could tell that they put some time into crafting the song. The rhythm section locked in nicely and the stops throughout the song were well placed. This band reminds me of something Newfound Glory would do with a healthy dose of some Blink 182....
If you enjoy Blink-182, you will certainly enjoy this song.
Well produced, great hook and the very typical (very well done) harmonies that you expect from them.
The intro (that also comes back halfway and at the end) is very nice and well played
Subtle keys behind the guitars, it's all there...
I really loved the overall feel and energy of the song. It gave a positive and realistic message to the listener. It never seemed to drag in any spot and had good quality breakdowns and transitions of the breakdowns within it. I really liked changing up the way the chorus was presented instrumentally from the first time we hear the chorus to the second and so forth. The intro served well as both intro and outro. I felt the main message of the song was that one should not listen to doubters and people who say it can't be done. It then gives an extreme example of this to really drive the point home in what if Christopher Columbus had listened to people telling him what can and can't be done. This is good because it gives the listener the message that anything is possible, which is a great message delivered well.
Lyrics are great. Love words that mean something. Very jimmy eat world. Disneyesque. Very professional sound.
Very blink 182ish . Sounded nice to me good background vocals .
Excellent song. Really catchy from the first guitar riff which I really liked. Love the offbeat in the verse and explosion in the chorus. Very good arrangement indeed. Performance was also very good all round. Excellent background vocals in the chorus.
love the idea of this, the mix hurts the lead vocal, but i can hear what you're doing. instrumentation is well done, like the guitar's. lyrics hard to hear, though parts sound really well done. again fix the mix IMO...overall nice work, reminded me of the rhembrants (sp) a bit.
Great tune, really dug it!
I like the sound on the guitars at the intro. Over all I like song it has a nice groove and feel. Nice job, thanks for sharing it..
I loved this song and the energy put out from it. Very well done and I would love to hear more from this artist. Great vocals and instrumentaion. Solid song and not doubt we will hear this on the radio!!!
Love the lyrics. Nice hooks. I could hear this on the radio today!
Very Cool arrangement, writing, and instrumentation - some nice dynamics, breakdowns - radio friendly alternative pop rock song - oops gotta listen again to see if I can pick out the title. Harmonies kicking in, nice. 2nd time listening and did not pick out the song title. 1 more time - going for "Said it cant be done." --- enjoyed it!
I like this song a lot. Very catchy tune.
