Bicycle

Story Behind The Song

I bumped into a girl I sort of dated in L.A. and got all bent out of shape about it. I mention running away on a Bicycle because chances are unless you are Lance Armstrong or someone of that caliber you're not getting anywhere too fast. the idea is that I was attempting to run away from myself and that is of course impossible.

Song Description

This song is about me hooking up with too many girls in L.A. I basically ran away from that drama up north to San Francisco where I bumped into some of the same girls I was running away from who had the same idea I did to run away to another city. I basically come to the resolution that despite this fact, I'm going to stay in San Francisco and stop running from my problems and work on myself.

Lyrics

There are people leaving this town
Right back to where I hail from.
I am never gonna back down,
L.A. is for visiting only.

La, da da da, la da da da, la da da da
La da da da, ahh.

There's a time a when you just got to be...
As far from it all as you can get
With the distance of a new city
To hide behind people we have met.

Maybe I'm wrong,
But you'll find no one
Who wants to run into who they ran from.

The point of all this,
Stay where you fit.
Everyone is our to get us.

I'm a Bicycle Racing
That girl drove me crazy.
There is no other way
Don't you chase me from my city.

Is everyone, out there?
Tell me, is everyone out there?

There's a time when you just gotta be,
As far from yourself as you can get
And the sound of your voice makes you sick.
You can't seem to shake the feel of it.

Maybe I'm wrong
But you'll find no one
Who wants to run into who they ran from.

The point of all this, stay where you fit
No one is really out to get us.

I'm a Bicycle Racing
That girl drove me crazy.
There is no other way
Don't you chase me from my city.

Is everyone, out there?
Tell me, is everyone out there?

La, da da da, la da da da, la da da da
La da da da, ahh.
