I was hooked from the first second. Great catchy song. Perfect pop music. Very catchy. While the lyrics don't break any new ground, they've very effective for a pop song. In terms of structure I like the way the lyrics switch to double time in the pre-chorus. Nice instrumental break and vocal improvs too. Lovely instrumentation. Great little instrumental outro too.

This is a nice gentle dance song that gets better as it progresses. I like the guitar interlude and the harmonies. The message is simple and understandable, basic love, previous heartbreak and attachment. The repetition of you have got a hold on me is hooky and memorable. The singer's voice is appealing. The singer is begging for a response it is bittersweet.

Really nice lead vocal and the muted guitar carries the rhythm. The pre-chorus has potential...felt a bit rushed..The electric gutiar bridge was a nice surprise.

Vocals are lovely! Convincing delivery of emotion. Also, there's no doubt that you know your stuff in the studio. You know how to arrange instrumental parts in a song with not too little and not too much in the way orchestration.

At first I didn't really care for the melody on the chorus... But, because of the multiple repetitions, it really starts to "get a hold" on you! The singer does a good job with her delivery and all the instruments fit the vibe and groove.

This song is super catchy! I felt inspired to listen to it more than once and by the time that I was halfway through the second listen, "You've got a hold on me" was stuck in my head...which is AWESOME. Also, the beat in the pre- chorus is great and it very nicely sets the stage for the chorus.

reminds me of the Beatles song you've got a hold on me. we all feel at times someone has a hold on us. the question is what to do about it.

The sound is very impulsive, catches the ear. In my opinion the song has a good market potential for a soundtrack or commercial.

Very catchy track. The first few seconds into the song promise good quality production, and the song progresses well, promise kept! I really like the chorus and instrumentation in the arrangement. Good vocals and guitar solo. This song has very good market potential, I can see it as a radio hit. I found myself singing along in next to no time. Well done!

The use of the various instrumentations were good and there's a good balance between them, with nice tone. Vocal was clear and expressive. Lyrics was ok. It's good choice of words for the chorus and it's catchy. Overall, it's pretty good.
