I wrote this song to encourage a close friend who was working through a difficult marital separation.
Song Description
In the first verse, one partner is realizing that there is no longer any love between them while holding hands and asking her partner to let go..
The second verse is encouraging that partner to move on, there's something out there they need to focus on and sticking around in a dead relationship will get them nowhere.
The last verse sums it up with a final request to turn their head to the future and let go of this expired relationship.
